Support Nepal Earthquake Victims - 2015

In an emergency meeting of the World Newah Organization (WNO), the international organization of the Newah people of Nepal residing around the globe has expressed its deep sorrow and sadness with the loss of lives during the massively destructive earthquake in Nepal on Saturday 25 April 2015. Observing a minute long silence it has expressed deep condolences to all the families who have lost lives of their members in this great natural disaster. The WNO meeting also decided to raise funds to support the victims of the earthquake.

WNO Appeal
A huge 7.8 magnitude deadly earthquake that occurred in Nepal on April 25, 2015 has devastated the homes and lives of our many friends, families, and children. This is the worst earthquake since 1934 in the country. Many old buildings and national heritages have collapsed, leaving the country in a devastating condition. The World Newah Organization (WNO) is deeply saddened by such a shocking occurrence. The organization sincerely expresses its deep condolences to the families of the departed souls and prays for peaceful departure of the souls.

The WNO is an international nonprofit organization that stands for supporting to alleviate human suffering and social injustice and, to remove socio-political and economic dominance of the people of Nepal in any shape or form. This time with everyone’s hearts and minds are in Nepal, individuals may contribute in whichever way that is convenient to them.
