Dear WNO members and well wishers,
Jwojalapa! We would like to inform you that the the current term of the World Newah Organization Executive Committee (WNO EC) is coming to an end on March 27, 2022. Election of the new executive committee will be held on Saturday June 25 during the 4th Convention of the World Newah Organization which will be held in the New York Metropolitan area from Friday 24-Sunday 26, June 2022. More details of the event will be posted soon.
At the recent board meeting held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, WNO’s EC unanimously selected the 5 person election committee under the chairmanship of Mr. Keshar Man Tamrakar. These outstanding individuals will work to ensure we hold a free and fair election—and the most democratic election of the WNO Executive Committee to date—for the term 2022-2025 in accordance with the WNO Constitution.
The election committee will soon publicly announce detailed information about the election. We are pleased to share that the following have agreed to serve on the election committee:
1. Coordinator—Mr. Keshar Man Tamrakar-USA
2. Co-coordinator—Dr. Prajwal Pradhan-Canada
3. Member—Mayeju Saroj Devi Prajapati-USA
4. Member—Mayeju Sylvia Rajopadhyay-Nepal
5. Member—Bhaju Shashi Mahaju-UK
